We search for a lot of things- the best job/company, home, husband/wife, materials for crafts, 401k investments, schools, and pediatricians for our children. We are constantly seeking something. We will Google a business and spend hours reading through reviews to ensure we find exactly what we are looking for in a hotel/Airbnb, hairstylist, etc. We even ask Siri and Alexa for answers. We are a society that uses Google search 5.6 billion times per day!!!! That means lots of people are looking for answers. Imagine if instead of going to Google, all these folks, looked to God and searched for Him, His way, His plan!
Scripture tells us in Jeremiah 29 that when you search for God with your WHOLE heart, you will find Him. We believe that God has good plans for us, plans to prosper and grow us, to give us hope and a future but we are searching in the wrong places to find out what that beautifully tailored plan is. We ask our parents, friends, jobs, people managers, Facebook about our plans before we search for God's perspective. God is calling us to search for Him. Free yourself from anxiety, worry and depression by searching for God. There is nothing too small to inquire God about. Nothing. He wants to hear from you.
