After working for nearly 20 years in the nonprofit and corporate sectors, I was beaten down by feedback. Constantly hearing you need improvement, are incompetent, and/or lacking can make your spirit weary and burnout very real. I hope we take a lesson from Apostle Paul this week and reject the rejection from folks who don't even know up from down themselves. Paul knew and was confident in Christs' choice of Him. Paul knew who knocked him off that horse while he was off riding to persecute Christians. He knew he was once blind, spiritually and physically, but could now see. He didn't seek their validation nor internalize their rejection and we shouldn't either!

Scriptures: Acts 18: 5-6When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah. 6 But when they opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”
