I am an introvert. People never believe me when I tell them this but I really am introverted by nature. But something about my introversion shifts when I come in contact with women. God allows me to see myself in each woman I meet and recently I've been meeting a lot of women going through hard times and their hearts are becoming hard as well. I can see them because I was in fact the same way until recently. I cried out to God a few years ago and said, " I deserve a soft life." I can admit, at the time, my idea of "soft" was based around the culture and not the kingdom. I just desired to be kept and cherished by a man, any man, cause doing this solo in survival mode had turned me into a version of myself that was unrecognizable.
But soft for me didn't come until I had shift in my spirit man. And friends, you also won't experience it, sustain it, and be able to share it with others until you have that shift too. Our soft era is about healing inside and out because our character, choices, and conduct needs to match our beautiful outer cosmetic appearance. During this process, you can't settle for just anyone; the King (Christ) is appointed for you. But here's the kicker: you've been letting court jesters mess up your consecration as well as your concentration. They're throwing off your pH balance, girl! And God is tired of His daughters settling for less. He's cutting off anything that's not meant for you.
So, how do we consecrate ourselves? Esther 2:12 has all the deets! "
Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics."
The first word is the first point- "BEFORE" This means something preludes your soft purification treatment. Something had to get us to this point. Our before could be before our birth but we all have a before. And it requires us to wait. Sometimes God will allow a bitter before to place us in the best position to be purified. Means your before might be dirty cause spring water doesn't need to be purified. It's the dirty tap water that does. All of our befores, even the before our births caused a tad bit of dirtiness. Scripture says we were shaped in iniquity and born into sin. But don't doubt your later will be greater with God. So first, we wait in the very place that caused us to need to be purified in the first place. Wait on God to prepare the next phase for you. I know it's hard, but it's worth it.
Then, we finish the treatment plan- bitter and beautiful. Oil of myrrh was a bitter oil. But it required the same 6 months as did the beautiful fragrant perfumes. There are no shortcuts with God. Even if it's bitter, it's better. The children of Israel taught us whining about the bitter parts doesn't work, wishing you were back were you were before doesn't work, you just have to wait in faith putting some truth on what you fee. God I feel alone and broken BUT your word says " My present sufferings do not compare to the future glory that will be revealed in us!"
Lasty, stop comparing yourself to others. Your treatment plan is unique to you. I recently saw on Facebook a "Women's Love Life Expert" say she had the answers to your dreamlife. I checked the comments and thousands of women dropped in the chat "dreamlife" because they wanted to pay her to attend a class to teach them the secret to having your dreamlife and dream guy. I was shocked! Nothing she said on that post was scriptural so it was all just her opinion. And nothing she said on that video was about women. It was all about how to do something so a man could take notice and affirm you. Friends, let me tell you, Jesus has already taken notice of you! Already chose you! Wrapped Himself in human flesh and became the living word just to affirm you. It's a lot of information online but not a lot of REAL instruction. Pray, fast, and cut off anyone who's not helping you grow spiritually. Including these Facebook and TikTok guru's. Reclaim your power and embrace your Biblical beauty treatment by reading and feasting on the Word and not just women making a dime dishing out random information.
In a nutshell, only God's beauty treatment makes you soft. Trust the process, even when it's tough. Your issue isn't dating; it's waiting. There's a bitter part and a beautiful part required before your presentation to the King, but trust God through both. It's time to take back your power and embrace your biblical beauty treatment!
