19 years of bondage. 5 years of me wrestling with God, at times forcefully refusing His love, mercy, and grace. All because I could not understand Gods grace. Quite honestly, I still don't fully understand it. That's why Paul says, it is a gift of God so no man can boast. It's a gift I logically could make add up and therefore I rationalized to exclude me from 100% heirship. Until TODAY!
Christ looked at the paralyzed man and said, "Take heart, son. Your sins are forgiven." Three miracles occurred before the man even got up and walked away:
Take heart. Christ saw the heaviness of his heart and first did heart work on him internally before He even addressed his external condition. His heart needed more help so that what Christ healed first. God knows what we need FIRST is oftentimes not what brings us to His feet. We think we're coming because of one thing and God speaks to our heart condition first.
Son. Christ knew this man needed to be received. Jesus could have called him by name but his name wasn't as important as letting him know he's in the family. The same is true for YOU. Daughter, Son, you're in the family now. I don't care if you've bounced around 100 foster homes or just went through a divorce, you're in God's family.
Your sins are forgiven. Jesus still has the power to forgive sins and this weeks video and dream unlocked a level of forgiveness I didn't believe I was deserving to receive. Christ looked beyond my faults and saw my need. And my need was to receive His forgiveness. Do you believe you've done the abominable? Well our Bible tells us, NOTHING, no nothing, can separate us from the love of God. Before you start singing Tasha Cobbs Im getting ready to see something I've never see, see yourself FORGIVEN. Because you are!
I pray you see with your spiritual eyes, all the ways God has blessed you to be able to take up your May and walk. The heart work, the reaffirming you're in His family, the forgiving our your sins, were necessary precursors for your MIRACULOUS externally visible victory and healing!
