My sister, Tira, passed away May 2015 and it's been a very difficult almost 3 years living without her. Just like everyone who has found themselves grieving, my grief was out of control. I was grieving as if I had no hope in Jesus Christ. I can quote a lot of scripture, a lot. My grandmother has been teaching me scripture since before learning my alphabets. But here I was not really believing Jesus Christ rose from the dead, defeating sin, death, and the grave. So I walked around with hope in Gods grace but not hope in His power and authority. Christ is our King, High Priest, and Savior! Well 3 titles are His no matter if we accept them or not. God knew, He knows all, so He came to see about me. And God knows just what you need too. Victorious living is not optional for believers! Death could not hold Christ so it won't be able to hold us either! We can free yourselves from carrying around the dead man- Our sinful man and our loved ones who have transitioned. God said in His word blessed are those who sleep in Him because they shall rise up 1st. We get perks, we are blessed, when we believe in Gods word. His word is true and it's 100% available to you! And then He said He wouldn't leave us comfortless, so He sent us the Holy Spirit to indwell in us. How cool is that?! You're walking around with a 24/7 comforter. Use Him. Listen to Him.
